Our Skate United and Special Olympics badge programs are thoughtfully crafted to engage and empower these individuals in the sport, fostering a sense of recreation, activity, and enjoyment.

Special Olympics

Ice skating is a sport that can be enjoyed by individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with intellectual disabilities. The Special Olympics curriculum, developed in partnership with the Special Olympics organization, is specifically designed to provide these individuals with the opportunity to experience the joys of skating and develop new skills while boosting their self-confidence

Skate United

Learn to Skate USA® is proud to offer the Skate United program, which provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn to skate. The curriculum is specifically designed for individuals with physical disabilities and was developed in partnership with Move United to ensure that every skater can learn new skills and make lasting connections on the ice
